Chromecast
Please register your Chromecast before completing the setup process. You will need to start the setup process in order to find the Chromecast's MAC address requested in the registration form below.
Registering your Chromecast
Login to clearpass.morningside.edu/guest
Select Create Device on the left hand side of the screen.
Fill out the form and select Create Device at the bottom.
Do not share your chromecast with anybody that you do not trust.
Anyone that is currently "sharing" your device can use it at anytime from anywhere on campus.
The Chromecast's MAC address can be found When selecting the wireless network for the Chromecast to connect to.
Setting up the device
Has your device been set up on another network?
If your Chromecast has already been set up on another network, you may need to reset it. To reset it: While the Chromecast is powered on, press and hold the button on the Chromecast for 25 seconds, or until the solid power light flashes.
The chromecast must be configured to be on the MUSTANG wireless.
The device that you are connecting to the Chromecast with such as a phone, tablet, or computer must be on the Morningside wireless.
After you have selected MUSTANG for the Chromecast network, make sure that your device (phone, tablet, PC) is still on Morningside wireless network. Some devices will try to follow the Chromecast to the MUSTANG wireless.
Your device is now registered and set up.
Begin using your chromecast on the wireless anywhere on campus.
